Napa/Sonoma Getaway
On the day after Thanksgiving, Gail and I headed off to explore the Sonoma/Napa area. We planned to stay two nights (but ended up only staying one night). Because we expected rain, we drove her car instead of the 500SL. We were driving around the area looking at some hotels. We were on the Silverado Trail when I noticed that the sun was setting, and I wanted to pull over somewhere to get some pictures before it was too late.
As we drove along, I spotted a vineyard with nice colors, so I pulled a U-turn and pulled off to the side of the road.
Here is Gail and her BMW:

Here's the scene that we were looking at from that spot:
Stay tuned, I have more pictures later. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Thanks PG. After being together for 31 years (9 years dating, 22 years marriage), Gail is used to having a camera pointed at her :)
