Quiet Moment at Seaport Village, San Diego, April 2002

This is another shot from our San Diego trip of a few years ago. It was late afternoon, my favorite time of the day, and just a few tourists remained.

The interesting thing about those spikey things, PG, is that I first saw them in Paris, all over the place. I understand the reason behind them, since pigeons are so darn messy, but I also understand the "cruelty to animals" sense they give. I guess in San Diego there are plenty of other places to land besides the lamp posts?! And you know, Warren, that I just love San Diego!
