PIcture: A Cat Named "Friend"
Since our cat, Easy Life, passed away in Aug. 2005, this backyard feral cat has taken up residence in our patio. We named her "Friend" because she used to be Easy's friend on the other side of the patio door, when Easy used to hang out in the patio.
For you regular readers, sorry, I have not had time to post any substantive articles lately because I've been busy with work, and other activities.

I wanted to laugh at this, Warren, and tell you WORK is no excuse...being totally sarcastic, of course. Work is always your first priority, so I certainly understand, tho' I have checked your site regularly. I love this photo and short story. I'm so glad you have Friend after losing Easy Life.

Well, the "other" activity aside from work is being the primary contributor to my other blog (the Friendly Photo Forum: www.fpcf.blogspot.com)
I was recently looking back on the activities on that blog, and I was amazed that there are close to 450 posts there in about 18 months of existence. Since I'm the primary obsessive compulsive picture poster there, my picture posts on FPCF probably outnumber all the other contributors combined by about 10 to 1.
I've opened up the format on the Friendly Photo Forum so that it feels more open, and the pictures are often accompanied by short narratives and more background information (as opposed to when I first started it, where it would just be a picture by itself).
If you want to see more of my recent pictures, go to the Friendly Forum (link on my sidebar), and check it out when you have some time. Please also comment there if you feel like it.
I think the pendulum of attention is about to shift back to Warren's Place soon, so please do check back here often. I'll have more to say very soon.
