Picture: Sunset at the Del
This is another shot from our San Diego Trip. This is the iconic tower (also used for the Hotel's logo) of the famous and historic Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. We didn't stay overnight there on this trip, but we did have a fantastic dinner and watched the sunset on the beach from the restaurant.

Picture: Hippo, April 2002, San Diego Zoo
I haven't posted in a while, so I went through some old albums and found this humorous picture of a hippo that I shot during our trip to San Diego.

Bay View
Here's a clearer shot of San Francisco Bay from Mt. Tamalpais. That's downtown SF on the right, Oakland/East Bay in the background on the left, Alcatraz in the center of the Bay, Angel Island and Belvedere Island in the middle left, and Tiburon, Richardson Bay and Sausalito in the foreground.

It was another beautiful October weekend in San Francisco. The Blue Angels were in town this weekend for the traditional airshow during Fleet Week. This year, we took my mother down to the Presidio to get a close-up view of the action. She really enjoyed it.
Thanks for reading.

Picture: Top of the World #2
This is on the East Peak of Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County. In the background, you can see downtown San Francisco on the left, and the fog rolling into the Bay from the Pacific Ocean on the right.
It was a perfect day to be up there.
